Media Library
The idea of this module is to create a sort of clip art folder for the article and marketplace modules. When you are
asked to upload media in these two modules, you can instead pick from a selection of images from your media library.
Click on "Media Library" in the "Admin Suite" and you will be taken to the window shown below.

To upload a file to the media library, click on the "Browse" button and a file chooser will appear. Pick a file to upload
from your hard drive and click "Open". Once you have done this, click the "Submit" button.
Next is a list of the files that are currently uploaded into your media library. The list shows the file name,
file type, file size, upload date and URL. Most of these are self explanatory, but we will explain a
couple of them.
File size is shown in bytes, kbytes (1KB = 1024 B), or mbytes (1 MB = 1024 KB), which ever is easier to
read depending on the file size. All of these file sizes are totaled at the bottom labeled "Total Disk
Used". Currently there is no total file quota. You may however have problems if you try to upload files
that are larger than a few mbytes, depending on your internet connection speed and the web browser you are
using.
The URL is the link to where that file is located on your site. You can use this URL in any HTML code that
you type on your site to link to this file.
There are three options associated with each file. The first is "View", which if clicked on will open a new
browser window to display the file (if your browser doesn't recognize the file type you will be given a choice
to either save the file or open it by selecting a program to do so with). The second option is "Rename". Clicking
on this will direct you to the window shown below.

From here you can rename the file you selected by typing the new file name (including file extension) in the text
field labeled "New File Name". When you are finished typing in the new file name, don't forget to click on "Rename"!!!
Click on "Media Library" to return to the file list window.
The last option is the "Delete" button. If you click on this button for a file then that file will be permanently
removed from your web site.
When you are finished administrating files, click on "Admin Suite".
