E-mail Program Setup Help - Outlook

Outlook for Windows is a robust mail program. The 'Outlook Express' version is bundled with the various Windows operating systems. On rare occasions, Outlook will refuse to download a given message.

Setting Up Outlook

Setup an email account using the Tools -> E-mail Accounts menu.

The E-mail Accounts window opens.

1. Choose either 'Add new..' OR 'View or change existing...'
2. Tap 'Next'

IMAP

1. Choose IMAP
2. Tap 'Next'

Create a new account

1. Enter information corresponding to the example below. Replace John's name, domain and password with your own.
2. Tap 'Test Account Settings...'
3. Tap 'More Settings...'

Set up Authorization

1. Place a check in the checkbox, 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.'
2. Tap radio button 'Use same setings as my incoming mail server.'
3. Tap 'OK'
