Outlook and Outlook Express

Outlook for Windows is a robust mail program. The Express version is bundled with the various Windows operating systems. On rare occasions, Outlook will refuse to download a given message.

Setting Up Outlook Express

Setup an email account using the Tools > Accounts menu. Both General and Servers account properties require setup entries.

Setting Up Outlook Express - General Tab

From the tools -> mail accounts menu. Create a new account. Enter information corresponding to the example below on the General tab. Replace John's name and domain name with your own.

Choose the servers tab and enter additional corresponding information to that below.
